After Apple updated iPhone firmware to 3.1.3, there has been an update for redsn0w (0.9.4), a multi-platform jailbreaking tool that works with both Windows and Mac OSX. However redsn0w, unlike the more popular PwnageTool for Mac OSX and also the recently released Sn0wbreeze for Windows, cannot create custom IPSW files. redsn0w 0.9, whose Beta version was released around one week back by the iPhone Dev team, has now a final version available for download. Unlike the Beta version which did not support iPod Touch 3G, the final version supports all iPhones and iPod Touches and includes an additional feature of IPCC tethering. (more…)
