Recently, a userland untethered jailbreak for iPhone firmware 3.1.3 video surfaced, and was confirmed as real by iPhone Dev Team member musclenerd. Apple iPad sports a new firmware, iPhone OS 3.2. In order to let developers keep their iPhone apps compliant to iPad, Apple has released the iPhone SDK 3.2. As with the other iPhone SDKs, this one also includes the Xcode IDE, an iPhone simulator, and other additional tools. It has been quite a happening week lately, what with the release of iTunes 9.1, the iPhone firmware 3.2 update for iPad, the app store coming to Facebook, and the first iPad unboxing video. iPad, as we already know, can run more than 150,000 of those iPhone apps currently available through the app store. Yesterday iTunes 9.1 was released by Apple, and iPhone users who have earlier jailbroken their devices using Blackra1n have been facing syncing issues with this latest release of iTunes.

Thanks to the developers of Sn0wbreeze, we now have a working fix for this iTunes 9.1 sync issue with iPhone 3.1.2 firmware. (more…)
