After you have jailbroken your iPhone firmware 3.1.3 3G/3GS with Sn0wbreeze, the next step is to unlock it. Here are the steps to unlock your iPhone 3.1.3 using Ultrasn0w 0.92. After Apple updated iPhone firmware to 3.1.3, there has been an update for redsn0w (0.9.4), a multi-platform jailbreaking tool that works with both Windows and Mac OSX. However redsn0w, unlike the more popular PwnageTool for Mac OSX and also the recently released Sn0wbreeze for Windows, cannot create custom IPSW files. redsn0w 0.9, whose Beta version was released around one week back by the iPhone Dev team, has now a final version available for download.
