Finally, there is some good news for the iPhone unlock community. The iPhone Dev Team have released Ultrasn0w 0.93 that can unlock iOS 4 iPhone 3GS, 3G on baseband 05.13.04, 05.12.01,05.11.07 And 04.26.08. The earlier released Ultrasn0w 0.92 could only unlock iOS 4 on baseband 04.26.08. (more…)

After iTunes 9.1 got released many users found sync issues when connecting their jailbroken iPhone or iPad with iTunes. BlackBreeze, a Blackra1n RC3 patch was made available, which fixes the iTunes 9.1.x sync issue with iPhone 3.1.2. (more…)

Recently a jailbreak tool called Thunderst0rm surfaced, claiming untethered jailbreak of iPhone 3.1.3 firmware on baseband 05.12.01 for iPhone and iPod Touch. This is not the first time that a fake jailbreak tool caught the attention of iPhone jailbreak community for a while, before being found as fake. Recently, a userland untethered jailbreak for iPhone firmware 3.1.3 video surfaced, and was confirmed as real by iPhone Dev Team member musclenerd. This exploit, found by comex officially goes by the name ‘Spirit’. While we expected that this exploit may also lead to iPad jailbreak, we did not expect it would come so soon. (more…)

Yesterday iTunes 9.1 was released by Apple, and iPhone users who have earlier jailbroken their devices using Blackra1n have been facing syncing issues with this latest release of iTunes.

Thanks to the developers of Sn0wbreeze, we now have a working fix for this iTunes 9.1 sync issue with iPhone 3.1.2 firmware. (more…)

As you are already aware, Blacksn0w, the unlock tool from Geohot, is unable to unlock iPhone 3G/3GS with firmware 3.1.3 on baseband 05.11.07. Fortunately, a hacker by the name MSFT Guy has provided a patch for Blacksn0w which fixes this issue. Manually applying this patch to Blacksn0w is not so easy, and Geohot has remained silent on this topic. (more…)
