Final Version Of iOS 4 Available For iPhone And iPod Touch
Immediately after it’s public unveiling in a WWDC keynote, iOS GM was made available for download for iPhone developers with UDID. Now the final version (actually the same build as iOS GM 8A293, only this is the public version) is available for download for both iPhone and iPod Touch.
iOS 4, the latest iPhone OS fully supports iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G, and of course the upcoming iPhone 4. While you can upgrade your iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G to iOS 4, note that several features including multi tasking will not work.
Those of you who were earlier jailbreaking your iPhone only to install apps like ProSwitcher (for multitasking), or the BTStack Keyboard (wireless keyboard), you don’t have to do it any longer, iOS 4 comes with many exciting features including multi tasking, bluetooth keyboard tethering, homescreen wallpapers, video auto focus, and so on.
