How To Open More Than 9 Tabs In iPad Safari Browser
By default, you can only open up to 9 tabs in your iPad’s Safari browser. You can however change this behavior and open more than nine tabs in Safari, by using a free Cydia tweak. You need to first jailbreak iPad 3.2 before you go ahead and install this tweak in Cydia.
While WebToolbox enhances your Safari experience by adding 70+ tools, it does not allow you to change the number of tabs. Even Mercury Browser does not let you open more than 6 tabs. Here are the steps to install the Tab+ tweak in Cydia, and enjoy more tabs in Safari:
1. Launch Cydia from your iPad springboard.
2. Go to the Sections tab. Scroll down the list and select Tweaks.
3. Scroll the list of packages, and select Tab+.
4. Tap the Install button at the top right and then tap ‘Confirm’ to start the download and installation.
If you are unable to find this tweak in Cydia, make sure you have added the BigBoss repository to your list of sources.
5. Reboot your device after the installation completes.
That’s it. You can now increase the number of tabs beyond 9 in Safari.
