Dropbox Now Available For iPad
Dropbox, the popular file syncing app for iPhone and iPod Touch has finally been updated to include the iPad. While many apps such as the Kindle reader, iBooks, WordPress blogging app, Netflix have been updated for iPad soon after it’s release, Dropbox did take a while before being updated for iPad.
The latest version 1.2 is designed to take full advantage of the wider screen of iPad by displaying the ‘My Dropbox’ tab in the left pane. So you can browse your documents and photos, and still have access to your Dropbox from the left hand list menu.
Dropbox for iPad lets you export documents from your Dropbox into 3rd party iPad apps. This is a great feature, considering that there are many more file managing apps for iPad. Dropbox gives you 2GB of free storage for free and an easy way to keep your docs & pictures synced between various computers or mobile devices, including Windows PC, Mac OSX, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
