Kindle App Now Available For iPad [Update]

The Kindle app for iPhone, an official app from Amazon, has been updated for iPad. Kindle allows you to read Kindle books, browse and purchase eBooks from the Kindle store, a growing database of more than 450,000 books.

Everyday new apps are being either released or updated for the iPad, like the recently released Netflix and iBooks apps for iPad. Apart from the already existing features, Kindle for iPad adds some additional ones optimized to take advantage of iPad’s larger screen display and new interface.

Some of the new features added include a home library with pinch & zoom support, an optional flip animation for pages, adjustable screen brightness, etc.
