iBooks iPad App Available For Download [Release]
If you are a book lover, then you will definitely need to get the iBooks app for your iPad. Don’t have an iPad yet? Check out iPad pricing details and specifications. Starting April 3, you can buy an iPad in a retail store, or if you have already pre-ordered yours might be on the way. Even before the iPad is out, we already have apps made specifically for the device, such as the newly released Netflix iPad app.
The iBooks is a free app, available only for iPads. iBooks is a one stop app for all your book reading needs, you can purchase books online from it’s iBookstore, organize and browse your book library, bookmark your favorite pages, and so on.
You can sample a book before downloading it from the included iBookstore. The iBooks app lets you arrange your books and sort them by title, author, category, adjust your screen brightness, customize the fonts for a better reading experience, search the text inside any book by word, character or even a phrase.
iBooks only works with books in the ePub format. Other features include a page navigator for quick browsing of pages in a book, tap to open, flipping through pages with a swipe or tap, support for syncing books between iTunes and iPad, and some accessibility features such as reading text.
Currently iBooks is available for download only in US. It requires an iTunes Store account.
