iPad Theme For iPhone/iPod Touch [Jailbreak Only]
Ryan Kelly, an independent designer, has released an iPad UI theme for iPhone and iPod Touch. Still in Beta, this theme will change the look and feel of your iPhone to that of the soon to be released Apple iPad. Ever since iPad was officially unveiled, it has garnered huge attention from all around the world. Apple has announced that iPad Wi-Fi model is set to be available in retail starting April 3 2010, and pre-orders start March 12th.
If you are enthusiastic to get iPad UI on your iPhone download the theme and apply it on your device. This iPad UI theme includes skins for Safari, Calendar, Music Player, the App Store, and so on. Some known bugs in this theme are system wide navbar text, and messed up controls while watching videos. Also, the author has not themed every image. Many such iPad themes for iPhone and iPod Touch are available from Cydia. Just search ‘iPad’ in Cydia, and you will come across several free ones.
In order to install Cydia, you need to first jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch. For jailbreaking iPhone 3.1.3, you may use Sn0wbreeze (Windows only), redsn0w (Windows, Mac OSX), or PwnageTool (Mac OSX). Unlocking iPhone 3.1.3 can be done using either Blacksn0w or Ultrasn0wF0recast lets you check if your iPhone/iPod Touch is tethered or unlockable.
