redsn0w 0.9 could jailbreak iPhone firmware 3.1.2. With Apple recently updating iPhone firmware to 3.1.3, the iPhone Dev team was quick in releasing redsn0w 0.9.4 which supports iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 1G and 2G. However iPhone 3G and 3G users should not jailbreak their device on 3.1.3 firmware ; redsn0w 0.9.4 updates the baseband to 05.12.01, resulting in loss of their unlock.
