AndroidLock: Free Cydia App Brings Android Style Unlock Screen To iPhone
The lock screen on Android phones looks fancy, like the ones you find in a Hollywood thriller. If you always wished to get this lock screen on your iPhone or iPod Touch, here is your chance. Well, only if you have already jailbroken your device or intend to do so.
AndroidLock, a free Cydia application, brings the Android 2.1 style unlocking, that can be found on devices such as Motorola Droid or Google Nexus One, to your iPhone. The Android lock screen has a grid of dots and can be unlocked by joining them in the same custom pattern that you have set. Sliding in and entering a password to unlock your iPhone screen is yesterday. Enjoy the new and fun way of joining the dots to unlock your iPhone screen.
AndroidLock is available in the BigBoss repository in Cydia store. Search for the term “AndroidLock” in Cydia and install the app. You can set the lock pattern, which requires at least 4 dots, by going to Settings –> AndroidLock.
