So you thought that those cool looking black and white photos with some objects painted in color, found in some ads, are only possible for professionals? Not really, if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch.

Dash Of Color, a free iPhone App, given by Free The Apps! lets you paint color to selective parts of a picture. Just select an image in your library and Dash of color converts it into a black & white picture. Use your fingers to add splashes of color on them. You can also do the reverse, that is paint black and white on a color photo.

Don’t worry if you have done something wrong. The app lets you revert all your changes and go back to the original image. The size of the brush can be chosen to have more control over what you are painting.
