Yahoo Messenger For iPhone 1.3.1 Adds Display Image, Real Time Updates, Privacy Option To Ignore Messages

Yahoo Messenger App for iPhone has received an update. The latest version, 1.3.1 brings in several enhancements, including the ability to set a display image, one of the most requested features, according to Yahoo.

Other newly added features include real time updates when any contact changes a display image, support for new file types (Office Docs, PDF files, Videos etc) under File Transfer, a privacy option for ignoring incoming messages from users not on the contact list, multi-language support  (German, French, Italian and Spanish).

Yahoo! Messenger is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch, requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
