Facebook For iPhone 3.1.1 Adds Push Notifications And Contact Syncing
Facebook fans, your favorite social networking app for iPhone has got an update. Facebook 3.1.1, the latest version has added push notifications and contact syncing to your iPhone’s Address Book.
Facebook for iPhone lets you stay connected with your friends and family, use Facebook chat, view photos and status updates of your friends, look up phone numbers, and upload your photos to Facebook. The current update lets you get notified upon status updates or messages. So you don’t have to open the app for checking for updates manually.
Another enhancement in this version is contact syncing, which allows you to link your Facebook profile pictures to your iPhone contacts.
Facebook for iPhone is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch. It requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
