GlovePod Lets You Change Tracks, Pause And Resume Music On iPhone Without Using Touch Screen

You want to skip a track or pause the music playing on your iPhone or iPod Touch, but don’t want to remove those multi touch screen-unfriendly gloves every time you do that? GlovePod, a free hack available in Cydia, lets you use the volume keys to change tracks.

The volume up/down buttons are turned into forward/backward buttons and the sleep button, when held pressed for a couple of seconds lets you pause (or resume) the music. GlovePod is available from the BigBoss repository in Cydia. In order to install this hack, search for “GlovePod” in Cydia. Reboot your phone after installation.

In order to activate the application, double tap on the Home button to bring up the iPod control, while music is being played. Now you can use the volume buttons, sleep button for controlling the music playback.

Note: You need to first jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch for installing Cydia apps such as GlovePod.
